Jennifer Z. Cain is an attorney in the Firm's Wheeling, West Virginia, office. Her practice is focused primarily on the defense of medical malpractice, deliberate intent, personal injury and breach of contract cases. She has represented hospitals and physicians, as well as manufacturing companies and various other employers in the Mid‑Ohio Valley.
Ms. Cain is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association. She has been admitted to the West Virginia Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from West Virginia University in 1981 and her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University in 1984. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk to The Honorable K. K. Hall, former judge of the U. S. Court of Appeals of the Fourth Circuit. She then joined the law firm of Brennan & Francis in New Martinsville, West Virginia, in 1986. In 1990 that practice was consolidated with Jackson Kelly. Ms. Cain transferred to Jackson Kelly's Parkersburg, West Virginia, office upon its opening in 1995 through 2006.
