Cooperative Agreements / Other Transactions
In addition to the traditional procurement process, government contractors can also receive funding from the government through cooperative research and development agreements (CRADAs) or under NASA and the DoD’s “other transactions” authority, which permits and encourages a flexible approach to technology transfers between the public and private sectors.
