Matthew Tyree is an associate in the Firm's Environmental Law Practice Group in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. Tyree's practice focuses on environmental litigation and client counseling for the coal industry. He provides advice on permitting, surface and water pollution and other environmental issues.

Mr. Tyree graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in finance in May of 2006.  He then graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, with a Juris Doctor in May of 2009. While at Washington and Lee, Mr. Tyree was the recipient of the J.E. Lewis Scholarship.
