Jill McIntyre is resident in the Firm's Charleston, West Virginia, office, where she handles complex litigation, exposure claims, legal professional liability and contamination cases. A member of  the Litigation Practice Group, Ms. McIntyre leads the Firm's Electronic Discovery Team and regularly advises clients and colleagues about digital systems; retaining and discarding electronically stored information; and preserving, collecting and producing data in litigation and/or government investigations.

Ms. McIntyre is experienced in mass actions, class actions and regulatory processes relating to environmental protection. She is admitted to practice in all West Virginia courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. McIntyre is currently serving a one-year term as President of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and a three-year term on the West Virginia State Bar Board of Governors. She is a founding member and officer of the Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence and serves on the Board and Executive Committee of Fund for the Arts. Ms. McIntyre is vice-chair of the Firm’s Technology Committee.

Attending West Virginia University as a Presidential and Honors Scholar, Ms. McIntyre earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1991. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. After working for a number of years in sales and behavioral health, Ms. McIntyre attended the University of Richmond School of Law, receiving a Juris Doctor in 2001.
