Laurie K. Miller is a Member in the Firm's Health Care and Finance Practice Group. She is experienced in medical professional liability defense, long-term care litigation, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, products liability and various types of commercial litigation. She has also devoted a substantial portion of her practice to mass litigation, multi-district litigation and class actions.

Ms. Miller is very active with DRI. She is currently serving on DRI's prestigious Law Institute, as well as serving as program co-chair for Beyond the Borders: Emerging Issues in Business Litigation, which will be presented June 4-5, 2015 in Ontario, Canada, by DRI's Commercial Litigation and International Committees. Ms. Miller also serves on the Steering Committee for DRI's Women in the Law Committee and is a member of the DRI Medical Liability, Products Liability and Drug and Medical Device Committees.

In addition to her writing and legal work, Ms. Miller is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Southern West Virginia and is serving on the Board of Governors for the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.
