Michelle Elmore Wooton is a Member of the Firm practicing in the Commercial Law Group. Her practice focuses on real estate law and includes assisting clients in a wide variety of commercial and real estate transactions, including those involving mineral rights, title work and curative actions and leases. Her practice also centers on banking, corporate and adoption law.

Ms. Wooton has been admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States District Court of the Southern District of West Virginia.

Ms. Wooton graduated from The University of Maryland in College Park in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English focusing on British and American literature. She received her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2004.  Ms. Wooton served on the Executive Board of the Law Review as the Executive Student Works Editor and was a member of the Ethics Committee.  Her many awards include Order of the Coif and the Patrick Duffy Koontz Scholarship.

Ms. Wooton serves on the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts Black Diamond Council. She is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and the Kanawha County Bar Association.
