Elizabeth S. Cimino is a Member of the Heath Care and Finance Practice Group in the Firm's Charleston, West Virginia, office where she works in the Medical Professional Liability Team.  A native West Virginian, Ms. Cimino graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in journalism. She received her Juris Doctor in 1995 from West Virginia University College of Law where she was selected to the Moot Court Board.

Prior to joining Jackson Kelly, Ms. Cimino spent a number of years in private practice devoted to the defense of West Virginia physicians and hospitals in actions brought under the West Virginia Medical Professional Liability Act.  An accomplished litigator, Ms. Cimino has tried MPLA cases involving family medicine, cardiology, OB/GYN, pulmonology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, surgery and various nursing issues.  Ms. Cimino has also represented health care providers in disciplinary actions before the West Virginia Board of Medicine and the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses.

At Jackson Kelly, Ms. Cimino focuses on the defense of health care providers in medical/legal matters as well as general health care, medical device, pharmaceutical and other litigation involving wrongful death and serious injury.
