Heidi A. Kossuth is an attorney in the Firm’s Wheeling, West Virginia, office. She is a part of the Land and Natural Resource Development Practice Group where she focuses on coal, oil and gas title and development issues. Ms. Kossuth recently worked in the oil and gas industry as a project manager, identifying, developing and leasing oil and gas properties in north central West Virginia. She is a member of AAPL and MLBC.
Ms. Kossuth was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 1986 and admitted to practice in the United States Claims Court and United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
Ms. Kossuth received her Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board, Mountain, Order of Barristers and a member of the winning team in the first Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia trial competition. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Bethany College and passed senior comprehensive examinations with distinction. During her studies at Bethany she was a Student Court Justice and a member of the residence life staff.
Ms. Kossuth serves on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) in Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler Counties. Ms. Kossuth served as a reporter for the West Virginia Law Institute’s Adoption Law Reform Project.
