Sandra K. Zerrusen, Counsel, practices with the Firm in the Akron, Ohio office.  She is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Zerrusen’s practice is founded on over fifteen years of state and federal court trial experience in the areas of construction, commercial, business, real estate, natural resources, personal injury, and insurance litigation.  She works with commercial and residential owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to protect their interests, to resolve their disputes, and where necessary, to litigate their rights in court.  She also has significant experience in the area of insurance coverage, including automobile, commercial general liability, homeowners, and bad faith claims.

In addition, Ms. Zerrusen represents businesses and shareholders in business disputes involving contract litigation, dissolutions, and fiduciary obligations.  In the oil and gas industry, she has experience handling complex litigation, construction, transaction, and title curative matters, including the resolution of mineral rights disputes under the Ohio Dormant Minerals Act.

Ms. Zerrusen earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from John Carroll University and her Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law.  She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  She is a member of the Stark County and Ohio State Bar associations and the Ohio Oil & Gas Association (OOGA).
