William E. Cartwright is an associate in Jackson Kelly's Evansville, Indiana, office where he practices in the Firm's Commercial Law Group.

Mr. Cartwright is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of Moot Court Board, Trial Advocacy Board, Tax Law Society and Student Bar Association. He also served as Vice President of the Equine Law Society. He competed in the National Tax Moot Court Competition in Clearwater, Florida. Mr. Cartwright is a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of Murray State University where he was a varsity member of the school's baseball team. During his time at Murray State, he was active in the Interfraternal Council, a member of Phi Alpha Theta (historical honor society) and served as a peer mentor with Student Services with Learning Disabilities. He was a recipient of the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship and the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Medal of Honor. Mr. Cartwright is a native of Madisonville, Kentucky, and is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Kentucky.
