Seth P. Hayes is a Member in the Litigation Practice Group in the Morgantown, West Virginia, office.  Prior to starting at Jackson Kelly, Mr. Hayes clerked for the Honorable David A. Faber of the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. 

Mr. Hayes received his Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he graduated Order of the Coif.  While in law school, Mr. Hayes served as an Executive Articles Editor for the West Virginia Law Review, and he received the Patrick Duffy Koontz scholarship.  While working on the Law Review, Mr. Hayes published an article titled, "When it Rains the Lawsuits Pour: Considering Economic, Social and Public Policy When Determining Duty in West Virginia."  Mr. Hayes received a Bachelor of Science in finance and a Bachelor of Arts in foreign languages from West Virginia University.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hayes worked as a financial analyst for Owens Corning, Inc., in Hickory, North Carolina.
