L. Montgomery Porter is a Member of the Firm and practices in the Health Care and Finance Practice Group. Mr. Porter regularly advises clients on the full range of health care issues and matters, including medical practice sales and acquisitions, physician and mid-level provider employment contracting, physician practice buy-ins and buy-outs, formation and operation of surgery centers, medical restrictive covenants, joint ventures and other affiliation structures between physicians and hospitals, payor contracts and negotiations, fraud and anti-kickback, Stark, HIPAA and other regulatory issues.

Mr. Porter's practice also includes advising clients in the manufacturing, energy and service industries, including business acquisitions and sales and business contract law.

Mr. Porter is included in The Best Lawyers in America® for Health Care Law and has received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Porter received his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of Evansville in 1983, summa cum laude. In 1986, he received his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, cum laude.
