Angela L. Freel is a Member of the Firm practicing with the Litigation Practice Group in the Evansville, Indiana, office. In her career, Ms. Freel has had the privilege of being involved in a wide variety of cases ranging anywhere from domestic relations, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, products liability, premises liability, commercial disputes, civil disputes, automobile/motorcycle accident and other complex litigation matters.

Ms. Freel has had the opportunity to represent various clients in the transportation industry including intra-state carriers, interstate carriers and their commercial drivers. Ms. Freel has represented small trucking operations and regional trucking operations, as well as a major grocery transporter. Oftentimes, Ms. Freel is called upon within hours of a serious accident to coordinate, develop and implement defense strategies, to retain experts/consultants and to preserve critical evidence. She is then in the best position to later defend these same clients should these matters not be resolved pre-suit. In turn, Ms. Freel has represented these same clients at the trial court level, state and federal, through the complexities of pleadings, discovery, mediation and trial.

Ms. Freel is also very experienced with representing business owners, professionals and their spouses through various life-changing events such as divorce, paternity, guardianship and custody modification. Through strategic personal and business asset valuation, Ms. Freel is able to help her clients identify the value of their marital estate, calculate child support and, if appropriate, calculate spousal maintenance. Ms. Freel also works to minimize the disruptions in her clients’ personal and professional lives while guiding them through these family and domestic disputes. Through it all, Ms. Freel is committed to achieving maximum results for her clients, whether through negotiated settlements or litigation.

Regardless of the nature of the representation, Ms. Freel prides herself in developing a rapport with clients, while providing a complete understanding of each case and the effective, timely resolution of disputes. Her straight-forward, honest style has earned the respect of colleagues and clients, as well as a reputation for being a reliable and experienced ally.
