Grace E. Hurney is an associate in Jackson Kelly's Charleston, West Virginia, office. She is a member of the Firm's Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Hurney has served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert B. King, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Hurney is a 2015 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law where she was awarded the Order of the Barristers. While at the College of Law, she served as an Executive Research Editor of the West Virginia Law Review, Vice President of the Lugar Trial Associatio
n, and was a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. She was the recipient of CALI Awards for Trial Advocacy, Pretrial Litigation, and Federal Courts and was named Associate Editor of the Year of the West Virginia Law Review in 2014.

Ms. Hurney received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Concord University in 2012. During her time at Concord, she was a Dean’s Scholar and was active in the Student Government Association, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She served as President of the Student Government Association and argued in multiple national mock trial competitions.
