Samme L. Gee is a Member of the Firm and a part of its Health Care and Finance Practice Group. Ms. Gee's practice is focused on tax exempt and taxable municipal bonds and related governmental and economic development financings as well as corporate trust, legislative services and governmental agency representation. In that capacity, Ms. Gee routinely serves as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, trustee's counsel or issuer's or borrower's counsel. Ms. Gee has extensive experience in the financing and development of infrastructure projects with an emphasis on water, wastewater, highways and public facilities and economic development projects. She is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) and is listed in Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America®. In the 2011 edition of Chambers USA, sources said Ms. Gee is "top of the line" in the realm of public finance, handling tax-exempt financing and bond issues all over the state. Sources also said she possesses "excellent critical thinking and analytical skills".

Ms. Gee graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1983, where she was a member of the West Virginia Law Review. She also holds a Master's degree in public administration.
