Ron G. Jones will present “The Past, Present, and Future of ‘Amateurism’ in Division I College Athletics” at the 53rd Annual Bench-Bar Conference of the Allegheny County Bar Association on June 13. The conference will be held June 13-15 at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Seven Springs, PA. The presentation will examine past and current prominent cases that have impacted and continue to impact the concept of “amateurism” in the NCAA. It will also dive into recent by-laws affecting representation by certified agents (Men’s basketball) as well as the overall “need” for agents in the future.
