Short Take: Carrie Willett Joins Jackson Kelly\'s Government Contracts Team

Jackson Kelly’s Government Contracts team is pleased to welcome Carrie Willett to the Firm’s Denver office. Ms. Willett joins Jackson Kelly from the United States Air Force where she served as an Attorney Advisor at Peterson Air Force Base. Prior to that, Ms. Willett was an Air Force trial attorney, litigating bid protests before the Government Accountability Office and contract disputes before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.  She has also served as agency counsel in bid protests at the Court of Federal Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Court. 

Ms. Willett will focus her practice on government contracts law. She has counseled clients on a variety of government contract issues, including: contract formation and administration processes, negotiation, performance, dispute resolution-mitigation, and remedies. Ms. Willett is well versed in the areas of bid protests, procurements, ethics and compliance, acquisitions and claims and disputes. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Kentucky in 1998. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2004.
