Member Tom Hurney, will be speaking on February 5, 2021 on Opening and Closing Arguments in West Virginia. This presentation will discuss rules and cases in West Virginia state and federal courts related to opening statements and closing arguments and offer a suggestion or two about what works and what doesn’t work.

Chief Information Officer Jeff Brandt will be speaking on February 4, 2021 on "Technology and Your Ethical Law Practice: Blockchains and Crypto coins and Ransomware, Oh My!". This presentation will be a discussion on blockchain and related technologies and how to protect your law practice from ransomware attacks.
