Gretchen Callas receives 2023 Benchmark Litigation Award

Gretchen M. Callas was honored with the Impact Case Award from Benchmark Litigation at the Annual Awards Gala in New York City. This impressive award goes out to the best litigators and law firms in the United States. Recipients are chosen after months of thorough research, peer-reviews, interviews, and analyses of important and impactful cases across the nation. Gretchen received this award for her work on the “City of Huntington and County of Cabell v. AmerisourceBergen et al” case.

Gretchen is a Member based in the Charleston, West Virginia office and the past leader of the Firm’s General Litigation Practice group.  She routinely represents publicly traded companies in significant matters involving products liability, class actions, and industrial disasters. She is an integral part of the Jackson Kelly team. She was the Firm’s first female assistant managing member from 2007 to 2011 and first lawyer to be elevated to equity status while on a reduced work schedule.
