CHARLESTON, W.Va. – (June 12, 2017) – Jackson Kelly PLLC is pleased to announce that firm Member Erin E. Magee has been elected president of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF).
Ms. Magee was elected at the Board of Trustees annual meeting on May 21, 2017 in Williamsburg, VA and will serve a one-year term.

Ms. Magee is a member of Jackson Kelly’s Litigation Department and co-leader of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her practice currently focuses on all aspects of labor and employment litigation, training and consultation, as well as ERISA matters and commercial litigation for energy-industry clients. She works from the Firm’s Charleston, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania offices.
Erin has served as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, and as a Member of the EMLF Board of Trustees, Executive Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. The Energy & Mineral Law Foundation is a national nonprofit educational organization which fosters the study of the laws and regulations related to natural resource development and energy use. Membership in the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation is open to anyone who is concerned with issues pertaining to the energy industry. Members include law firms, consulting firms, utilities, mineral companies, trade and professional associations, individual attorneys, industry executives, retirees, law schools and law students.
