Jackson Kelly Attorney to Speak at Center for Rural Health Development Annual Governance Forum

Rachel Ludwig, an attorney in Jackson Kelly’s Healthcare and Finance Practice Group, will present “Corporate Compliance: How do Boards Ensure Compliance with the Resources Available?” as part of The Center for Rural Health Development’s 2016 WV Governance Forum. During her session, she will discuss how smaller health care organizations can ensure compliance using the resources they have available. Ms. Ludwig’s experience includes assisting hospitals, health systems and other providers in mergers and acquisitions, spin restructuring, securities offerings, co-management agreements and in developing clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations. Ms. Ludwig is member of the Young Professionals Council of the American Health Lawyers Association. She is a 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, she was a recipient of the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law and received CALI Awards for Excellence in FDA Seminar, Health Law and Legal Research. She also served as Chief Managing Editor and Staff Editor of The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law.
