WVBA Presents Stephen Crislip with Award of Merit

Charleston, WV (August 18, 2016) -- Jackson Kelly is pleased to announce that Charleston lawyer Stephen R. Crislip received the West Virginia Bar Association Award of Merit for an “outstanding lifetime of distinguished service to the legal profession and/or the judiciary in West Virginia.”
WVBA’s President William J. Powell presented its highest award with the assistance of firm lawyer Alvin L. Emch who made the introductory remarks on behalf of Mr. Crislip at the Association’s 130th Annual Meeting on August 5. Mr. Crislip becomes the 18th award recipient, joining four judges and justices, two law school professors, and 11 private practitioners.
Mr. Crislip’s practice focuses primarily in litigation with an emphasis on the defense of cases involving professional responsibility, general litigation, construction litigation and business litigation.
