Andrew H. Bell is Counsel with the Business Law practice group, focusing primarily on real estate matters. He practices out of the Firm's office in Charleston, West Virginia.
Andrew is a seasoned real estate attorney. His experience is diverse — from title insurance, title opinions, settlement and closing processes, and even litigation, he solves a variety of real estate and transactional problems for his clients. Andrew is well versed in quiet title actions, land contracts, deeds of trust, tax liens, lis pendens, mechanics liens, and easements. Andrew is a proactive attorney with a passion for learning new skills and providing clients with concise and thorough results.
Andrew also has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically with leases, surface use agreements, joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, partition actions, lease ratifications, title opinions, and title defects. His experience as an in-house title attorney with several production and exploration companies in the Appalachian region provides a unique perspective of the practicalities and fundamentals of the oil and gas industry.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from University of Pittsburgh.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two hound dogs. He is also known to take on home projects, cheer for the West Virginia Mountaineers, and study American and European history.
