Chris M. Green is Counsel in the Health Care industry group, focusing primarily on litigation. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Charleston, West Virginia.
Chris is a bold and confident member of the Jackson Kelly team, never afraid to challenge the opposition in order to get the best result for his clients. In fact, one of Chris’s favorite parts of practicing law is the chance to cross-examine adverse expert witnesses. Chris is a fierce competitor both in and out of his legal practice; he is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, having trained in the martial art for 12 years and winning two grand championships. He even co-owned a martial arts school.
Throughout his career, Chris has used his legal expertise to serve his community. While in law school at the University of Dayton, he worked in the school’s legal clinic defending indigent clients and while in school at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, he served as an intern for the State Public Defender’s office and the Domestic Violence Intervention Project.
Chris earned six CALI awards in law school, served as an editor and writer for the University of Dayton Law Review, and was a member of the Moot Court team. Although he is tentatively retired from martial arts, he is still active in the community through his work officiating high school football. He’ll challenge anyone to a game of billiards, is a film aficionado, and enjoys weightlifting and traveling with his wife.
