Jenna Fonner is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group, focusing primarily on general and commercial litigation. Jenna regularly represents clients in matters involving commercial disputes, professional liability, and insurance defense. She practices out of the Firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.
Jenna brings a level of preparedness to any situation that works to reassure her clients. Jenna regularly performs research into a wide variety of practice areas, ranging from professional liability and commercial litigation to mining safety and insurance defense; drafts motions and orders; takes and defends depositions; and handles complex discovery. However, her work is not just limited to litigation. Having experience in copyright, transactional, property, and banking matters, her crossover knowledge lets her clients know she is ready for any issue that may pop up.
Jenna earned her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of her class council. In addition to Jenna’s litigation experience, she served as Counsel to both the West Virginia Senate Health and Human Resources Committee and the Select Committee on Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health during the 2025 Regular Legislative Session and was a summer legal associate at the Bank of New York Mellon. Jenna earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in biology from West Virginia University.
Away from the office, Jenna enjoys golfing and spending time with her fiancé and amazing dog (Welder).
