Joseph H. Langerak is a Member in the Banking and Construction industry groups, focusing primarily on commercial litigation, appellate work, bankruptcy, and litigation. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Evansville, Indiana.
Joe thrives on tough legal issues and complex problems within his practice areas, and is always looking for a new or novel legal issue to wrap his head around. He knows the more informed and well-versed he can become in his practice areas, the better he can serve his clients.
Joe works with companies ranging from small businesses to major corporations on litigation arising from contracts, business dealings, real estate, banking and finance, bankruptcy and creditor rights, and construction law. He also frequently works with commercial land owners, retail shopping center owners and operators, contractors, design-builders, subcontractors, and vendors on matters ranging from construction claims, commercial leasing disputes, contract breach actions, as well as contract negotiations and drafting.
Joe is always up for a challenge. He is an experienced trial attorney, trying his first federal case while he was still in law school. He has since brought cases to jury verdict in multiple states and regularly appears before federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels all across the eastern United States.
When he’s not practicing law, Joe moonlights as a chauffeur, making sure his four children make it to all of their sporting events and practices. He can also be found fly-fishing and enjoying a craft beer on the weekends.
