Joshua P. Kaut is an Associate in the Litigation Practice group, focusing primarily on Commercial Litigation. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Akron, Ohio.
Joshua has been committed to Jackson Kelly and the law, even before becoming a licensed attorney. He worked hard both during the summer and school year as a Summer Associate and Law Clerk before being admitted to the bar. This allowed him, even as a young lawyer, to care for the law and the Firm’s clients, putting him ahead of the curve as he started his career.
Joshua also brings federal court room experience to his practice, having worked as an Extern for Judge Ryan T. Holte at the United States Court of Federal Claims. This background allows him to reassure his clients that he understands litigation, court procedures, and more.
Joshua is an active member of the Akron community, as well as professional organizations. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association. He is also on the board for the Membership Committee of the Akron Bar Association and is on the Committee for the New Lawyers Section of the Akron Bar Association.
When away from the office and the courtroom, Joshua spends his time playing golf, watching sports, or hanging out with family and friends.
