Kristi Gennette is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group, focusing primarily on general litigation. She practices out of the Firm's office in Charleston, West Virginia.
Kristi is an experienced attorney in dealing with all phases of litigation and has handled multiple issues for clients in front of state and federal courts.
Before joining Jackson Kelly, she served as a law clerk in the Eastern District of Virginia and as a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, where she handled civil and criminal appeals.
Most recently, Kristi practiced in Maryland, representing clients in complex litigation matters including breach of contract, commercial lease, and class action disputes.
Kristi’s experiences have provided her with the confidence that rubs off on her clients, knowing they are in good hands. From working in both private practice and for the federal courts, there's little Kristi hasn't seen or worked on when it comes to litigation.
Her experiences have taken her from West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and back to the Mountain State again. Away from assisting the Firm's clients, Kristi likes to read and spend time with her friends, family, and dog, Ivy.
