Sarah A. Phipps is an Associate in the Health Care industry group, focusing primarily on litigation. She practices out of the Firm’s office in Charleston, West Virginia.
Sarah has an intensity and drive that make it clear she is meant to be an attorney. To meet her is to trust that your case is in the most capable hands. Sarah’s passion for writing and research led her to pursue her law degree. While she was interested in becoming a writer from an early age, she realized she could easily find that same professional satisfaction through drafting and editing briefs as an associate attorney. She loves that she can apply her writing skills to her litigation work for a variety of clients.
Sarah joined the Firm in 2016 after serving as a summer associate in 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies/pre-law from The University of Toledo in 2013, and her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Sarah was an associate member and the Executive Articles Editor for The University of Toledo Law Review.
Outside of her pursuits in the legal profession, Sarah has written many short stories that she hopes to one day publish and enjoys learning and playing Beatles tunes on her ukulele. In her free time, Sarah likes to read and write fiction, play music, cook, and spend time with family and friends. Sarah especially enjoys sunny weekend afternoons out on her deck with a good book and her rescue dog, Lennon.
