KRISTIN WHITE AND ERIC WHYTSELL TO PRESENT AT THE 2018 ROCKY MOUNTAIN SAFETY CONFERENCE

Kristin White and Eric Whytsell will be featured presenters at this year’s 2018 Rocky Mountain Safety Conference being conducted by the Colorado Safety Association and the Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers on September 25 and 26, 2018, at the Antlers Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Kristin White and Mark Ashby’s presentation, “Workplace Violence: Steps an Employer Can and Should Take Ahead of Time” will discuss the warning signs that employers should be aware of and respond to, in the hopes of preventing a workplace violence incident. They will talk through real-world scenarios and how to respond in the heat of the moment. Additionally, they will offer recommendations for your policies, procedures, and employee training.
Eric Whytsell and Carl Livitt’s presentation, “Don’t Be the Slowest Zebra – Understanding and Responding to Cybersecurity Risks” will address the motivations underlying the various types of data security threats, the primary types of rules that may apply, and the practical steps you can take to begin to manage the risks your company faces.
