Jackson Kelly Attorney to Serve on Faculty at DRI Deposition Institute

Thomas J. Hurney will serve as a faculty member for the DRI Deposition Institute in Chicago from April 26–29, 2016.  Mr. Hurney and other members of the faculty will lecture on issues covering all aspects of deposition taking, conduct live deposition demonstrations and work with small groups to provide students with hands-on training in taking and defending party and expert depositions, dealing with difficult witnesses and adversary counsel and preparing witnesses for depositions.  He returns after serving on the faculty in 2015. Hurney is a litigator and trial lawyer who leads Jackson Kelly's Health Care and Finance Practice Group. He is a past President of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and is the current Vice President of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, an invitation only national organization of trial lawyers.  He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
