Jill McIntyre Elected President of the Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – March 25, 2015 – Jackson Kelly attorney Jill McIntyre was elected President at the 2015 Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence (AIDE) Annual Meeting held March 16, 2015.
AIDE is a regional nonprofit organization that was created to serve legal, technical, public sector and business professionals who work with digital evidence, technology and law. AIDE’s goal is to improve access to information and foster collaboration among practitioners and academics who aim to use digital evidence as well as traditional physical evidence.
McIntyre is a Member in the Firm's Charleston, West Virginia, office. In addition to maintaining a broad litigation practice, McIntyre leads the Firm’s Electronic Discovery Team and follows closely the development of electronic discovery law and principals, along with emerging technologies implicated in the discovery process. She regularly advises clients and colleagues about digital technologies; retaining and discarding electronically stored information; preserving, locating, collecting and producing data involved in litigation and/or government investigations; and engaging in proportional, cost-effective discovery.
