Three Jackson Kelly Denver Attorneys Named to 2017 Colorado Super Lawyers List

DENVER – (March 15, 2017) – Jackson Kelly PLLC is pleased to announce that three attorneys in the firm’s Denver office have been named 2017 Colorado Super Lawyers, which recognizes attorneys who have achieved a significant level of peer recognition and professional achievement.
The attorneys and their recognized practice areas are as follows:

Beverage practices in the Occupational Safety and Health Practice Group. She represents general industry, construction and mining clients in compliance issues; policy, legislative and regulatory matters; civil and criminal enforcement issues; and accident investigation and whistleblower claims on both state and federal levels. She has extensive experience involving issues under the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act and other state and federal safety and health statutes, including the Safe Explosives Act and the Surface Transportation Assistance Act.
A member of the Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group, Madsen practices in the public policy and government affairs area, in election and campaign finance law, and in real estate development law. She has represented clients before the Colorado Legislature and before various local governments for more than 20 years. She has extensive experience representing large and small business entities and related national and local trade associations in connection with legislative and public affairs issues, as well as state and local initiatives and referenda.
Zakhem is a member of the Commercial Law Practice Group. He focuses on the representation of business and real estate owners in the areas of labor and commercial litigation, corporate and business law, real estate development and finance, government affairs election law and campaign finance, professional/medical practices, mergers and acquisitions, and private-placement securities offerings. He also provides construction counseling and litigation support to owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
