William serves as counsel to many of the area’s most prominent equine breeding and racing operations, racetracks, numerous state associations including alcoholic beverage associations, coal and energy companies, acute care hospitals; and more. He has used his knowledge of these industries to educate others through his lectures at various law schools, medical schools and other institutions on related issues.

William’s passion for the practice of law is reflected in his involvement within the Firm. He recently served as Chair for the Firm’s Executive Committee and is on the Shares and Compensation Committee. He has been voted on by his peers to receive an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

In his free time William enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has a deep interest in both horses and racing.
