Jackson Kelly PLLC is seeking a full time Legal Assistant to join our Morgantown, West Virginia office. Job responsibilities include a blend of secretarial and paralegal duties to support our litigation practice group. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail and proofreading skills, and proficiency with MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, redlining documents). Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of recent legal experience.
In addition, qualified candidates will be highly skilled in the following areas:
- Computer – Windows 10, Office 365, document management system (NetDocs)
- E-discovery
- Document organization
- E-filing documents with state and federal courts
