Zachary H. "Zach" Warder is a Member practicing in the Energy and Construction industry groups, focusing primarily on commercial litigation. He practices out of the Firm's office in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Zach is committed to zealously representing his clients so that their best interests are always served and enjoys the thrill, strategy and constant client interaction that occurs throughout all phases of litigation. Zach’s commercial litigation experience involves litigating a multitude of cases involving business and contractual interests, such as the prosecution and defense of construction, distribution, and employment agreements, employer liability matters, and injunction cases.
He routinely represents contractors, owners, developers, architects, and suppliers in the prosecution and defense of construction claims, which range from public and private breach of contract claims to bid disputes and liens.
Zach received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2018. While in law school, he served as Senior Managing Editor of Volume 120 of the West Virginia Law Review. Zach was also a proud member of the United States Supreme Court Clinic and earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contracts.
Prior to law school, Zach worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as the Special Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, Zach was involved in overseeing the House's Acquisition Management, Finances, Media Galleries, Logistics and Support, and House Information Resources. During his time on Capitol Hill, Zach learned how to work effectively with Congressmen and Congressional Staff from all different backgrounds and beliefs.
When Zach isn't practicing law, he enjoys going on hikes with his Golden Retriever, playing golf (poorly...), traveling and reading historical non-fiction.
